Ho-Ho-Ho !! Wishing you a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year. Gosh! The more I look at the Christmas tree, the more I like it. It took me, my nephews and nieces hours to decorate it. It is a 8 feet high Christmas tree we got it from the mall. Those little ones are get more excited with their presents perhaps. They wanted to open it and are not allowed to do that until on Christmas day. Hahaha!

Ho-ho-ho! Santa is coming to town.
Present for the kids!

Foreigners Invasion
Previously, my place here the night market on Saturday are full of local residents taking a slow walk and when ever I'm at the night market, surely I'll met someone I known. Some are seen bargaining prices with the local traders at the fish stalls other are bargaining prices at the fruits stall.
Nowadays, I seen less and less of the local folks are less interested at night market. Most probably, it is because the whole street is occupied by "Bangla". They often travel in groups. Crime rate here is slowly increasing at a slow pace but manageable. One day, I think this night market will be concurred by the foreigners. I'm not surprised because the hawkers center in Kepong are full of Myanmars. Each and every eating stalls are occupied by them. I think about 90% of the eating stalls are concurred by them already. The foods are hopeless! Tiu!!!

Lower EPF dividend next year?
I read in the newapaper that the Malaysian Employees Provident Fund’s (EPF) total investment income for the third quarter (Q3) fell 60.4% to RM2.06bil from RM5.2bil in the previous quarter (Q2) as its investments, especially equities, were affected by the global economic uncertainty. I do not hope that they (the EPF big guns) are implying or giving an excuse for declaring lower dividends next year 2009. Last year's dividends was 5.8% percent.
Did you or did you not sign the Form KWSP 17A (AHL) Khas to maintain your employees monthly contribution rate at 11% percent? If you did not do anything, the company you are working in will automatically deduct your statutory monthly contribution 8% percent effective January 2009. You may obtain the form from any EPF branches or you can download it at http://www.kwsp.gov.my
online.
